I started this company in 2010 after cooking for some friends who said "why dont you do this for a living", and decided to do just that. I am from the south now living here in Long Island NY, and being kosher, I have yet to find some kosher BBQ, not a grill or deli thats gone above and beyond, but real "low & slow" BBQ.
We dont have a sushi bar, or offer a menu that requires a interpreter, but we do have some roll up your sleeves, finger lickin good BBQ that will leave you beggin for more. We hand pick our meats (glatt kosher), and use fresh ingredients along with some of the most unique recipes you wont find in a cookbook. We offer both smoked (10-14 hour cooking process), and grilled meats (faster high temp cooking) along with our famous "beer can chicken" and "southern friend chicken" on our menu.
I am a culinary school graduate from the New York Restaurant School now known as The Art Institute of New York and apply my formal training in everything I do. Being in the food service industry for over 10 years has taught me one thing - keep it simple and let the food do the talking.
Our competition style mobile BBQ trailer is ready for anything, we built this ourselves and designed it for any event regardless of location. We hand pick our wood and use a mix of hickory, cherry, oak, or apple wood depending on the items we are smoking.
Holy Smoke BBQ is available for any event, regardless of size, and we provide the staff, food (glatt kosher) and can arrange for anything your event requires.
